Care First’s office, clinical and therapy staff are carefully screened and selected during the employment process. Each receives continuous professional training and development that is specifically related to providing the best care to you. We provide in-house training in a room designed to mimic a home setting with a simulation mannequin. This provides us an opportunity to assess our staff’s numerous skills such as IV, tracheostomy, wound care and moving a patient using a walker, cane, wheelchair etc. New nurses and therapists are checked off via a return demonstration by senior staff, which they then have a joint home visit with. These mentoring visits allow new employees to demonstrate their expertise while observing the intricacies of delivering health care in a home environment.
